The Florida Department of Revenue<\/a> reports, \u201cThe sales tax holiday does not apply to the rental or repair of any of the qualifying items.\u201d<\/p>\n
The National Retail Federation<\/a> estimates families will spend an average of $849 on back-to-school items this year. While college students and their families are expected to spend an average of $1200. Expecting to top the list of in-demand items are electronics and clothing.<\/p>\n
