GreatFlorida Insurance Welcomes Ahmed Khalil to Ponte Vedra Beach

GreatFlorida Insurance continues to expand its statewide network with the addition of Ahmed Khalil, who has opened a new GreatFlorida Insurance agency in Ponte Vedra Beach. A former New York State Police captain, Khalil brings more than 20 years of law enforcement experience and a strong commitment to helping individuals and families make informed insurance decisions.

Before entering the insurance industry, Khalil spent more than two decades serving in law enforcement, retiring as a captain with the New York State Police. His experience assisting families through unexpected and difficult circumstances inspired him to pursue a career focused on helping people better understand their insurance coverage before they need it most.

“Before opening my agency, I served more than twenty years in law enforcement, retiring as a captain with the New York State Police. During those years, I showed up for families on some of their hardest days. After a serious crash or damage to their home, they were trying to figure out what to do next.

“Those experiences stayed with me and led me to insurance. When something goes wrong, you have enough to worry about. That’s why I want to help people understand their coverage while they have time to ask questions and make decisions.

“I chose GreatFlorida because I didn’t want to be tied to one insurance company. Working with multiple companies lets me compare coverage and prices based on what each person needs. The GreatFlorida team has provided hands-on training and support as I’ve built the agency.
